The project’s strong personality is based on the combination of two materials: dark slate and gilt brass.
The slate, cut into large sheets and exhibiting an irregular surface, covers floors and walls. Meanwhile, light screens and geometrical appliqués are built from brass wire meshes and profiles. The underground rooms are cleverly lit by skylights –filtering the light through golden slats– and by a series of light points deeply embedded in the ceiling.
